After I graduated in Business Economics at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam, I did a six-month training placement in the marketing department of a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) company in Belgium. After this experience, I concluded that I wanted to continue in the FMCG world, but in sales. Sales appeals to me much more because you are in direct contact with clients and can develop as an all-rounder. Ultimately, I chose L’Oréal, because the young and open culture was very attractive. The high level of responsibility from the start also makes your job very challenging right away.
